Store Policies

Thank you for choosing Cayla’s Bridal Boutique. We appreciate your business and would like to make sure your experience exceeds your expectations.

Please read and understand the following store policies.

*Changes cannot be made once the order has been placed.

Cayla’s Bridal Boutique can only suggest sizes based on customer measurements and manufacturer size charts. The size chosen is your decision. In most cases, alterations are necessary to ensure proper fit. Once measurements and sizing have been taken for your order, it is your responsibility to check these measurements and to indicate if you feel that these measurements are incorrect in any way. We will not be held responsible for any weight loss/gain or any other changes in your measurements after the product has been ordered.

All changes and any alterations on the dress after ordering are the customer’s own responsibility and at their own cost. Cayla’s Bridal Boutique can assist with alterations on request at a fee.

*Special requests:
Orders which are non-standard (including but not limited to design changes, and specific colour requests), may be subject to a surcharge which will be agreed upon before confirming your order.


*Colour Matching:

Actual dress colours may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor, laptop, tablet and phone screen has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently.

*Limitation of Liability:
Cayla’s Bridal Boutique cannot be held responsible for manufacturer defects or delays beyond our control. We do, however, guarantee our best efforts before and after problems arise. If delivery of the product is delayed arriving with us by an event outside of our control, then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimize the effect of the delay.

*Payment Policies:
Customers are required to pay a 70% non-refundable deposit on the date of their order. The remaining 30% is to be paid once the designer has completed the dress. Once you have paid the outstanding balance, the dress will be shipped to us, and from there on it will be couriered to you locally or, by arrangement, can be collected in person.

*Veils, Jewellery & Other Accessories:
Customers are required to pay 100% at the time of ordering.

*Cancellations & Changing Your Mind.
All payments are non-refundable, regardless of whether you change your mind and/or no longer require your item. Please refer to the refund policy for exceptions.

*Refund Policy

•    Please note that no refunds will be approved if we receive incorrect information regarding the colour of your dress, the type, the size, or the wrong delivery address. Therefore, please review your order at least twice before you submit it.
•    No refunds will be approved for unforeseen circumstances which Cayla’s Bridal Boutique does not have direct control over, such as Customs and Shipping delays.
•    No refunds will be approved on any dresses that are on Sale.
•    We will not approve any refunds if you imagined the dress would fit differently on you. Please make sure of the style you choose.

*Shipping Policy

Companies used to ship our products include FedEx, UPS, DHL & Aramex which usually takes an estimate of 5-15 business days for delivery depending on Custom Clearance as well. The production time varies for each dress. Once the product has been shipped, you will receive updates on the shipment once shipped. Cayla's Bridal Boutique will not be held liable for any items stolen, lost, or damaged packages.

*Rental Policy

Please note that Cayla’s Bridal Boutique is a newly established bridal boutique and does not carry in-house stock of rental dresses at this time. All rental dresses are ordered brand new and are made from scratch.

  •  Rental Reservation Fee: Since all dresses are made to order, The customer is required to pay the rental amount in full on the date of their order. Once the dress has arrived from the manufacturer, the dress can be collected in person or shipped to the customer locally at the customer’s expense.

  • All rental wedding dresses remain the property of Cayla’s Bridal Boutique at all times.

  • Safety deposit: A refundable safety deposit of R1 000.00 will be required before the dress is sent to the customer. The safety deposit will be refunded once we have cleaned the dress and no major flaws, tears, burns, or any stains are found on the dress. This will be payable within 5 working days on the return of the dress.

  • Cleaning: Cleaning will be done by Cayla’s Bridal Boutique on the return of the dress. You agree that under no circumstances will you attempt to clean the rented dress yourself or have them cleaned by anyone else.

  • Damage: In the event that damage is observed (rips, stains etc.) on the arrival of the dress, please take photos of this and inform us right away. If the customer fails to notify us, it may be assumed that the damage was caused by the customer. Minor wear and tear of dresses are normal and are seen as acceptable in the case that they can easily be repaired (at no additional cost to the customer).

  • Lost or Stolen Dresses: In the event that a rental dress is not returned or stolen, the customer will be liable for the full retail price to repay to Cayla’s Bridal Boutique, and the safety deposit will not be refunded. If an item is lost by the courier service, there will be no fees charged to the customer. Please ensure to keep the proof of return waybill signed by the courier collecting the dress from you. Without this, there will be no evidence of the customer returning the rental dress, meaning they will be liable for the loss.

  • Late Returns: For each day the rental dress is late to be returned, 15% of the safety deposit will be deducted until the rental dress is returned in good condition.

  •  Lead-Times for Orders: Our dresses require at least 6 - 15 weeks from the order date. This time depends on several factors such as but not excluding fabric availability, length of dress, detail of dress, and more. Therefore, lead times vary by dress.


  • Delivery: The rental dress can be collected in-store or couriered to the customer's provided delivery address. It is the customer’s responsibility to be available at the provided delivery address as prior arranged when the order was made. The customer will be notified before the rental dress will be shipped to the provided address.

  • Alterations: There are no alterations made on rental dresses. The dresses are rented as is. If you absolutely must make alterations for the dress to be wearable, it should be done in such a way that it does not permanently alter the dress and can be undone to enable the dress to go back to its original state. This will be done at the renter’s own cost.

*Privacy Policy

Cayla's Bridal Boutique knows that you care how your information is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This notice describes our privacy policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and make use of personal information. By visiting, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

What Customer Information Does Gather?
The information we collect from customers helps us personalize and enhance your shopping experience. Here are the types of information we gather:

Information You Provide Us: We receive and store the information you enter on our website as you complete a transaction, place an order or return a purchase. This includes your name, address, phone number, and email address. When you provide us with your personal information, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

Automatic Information: we receive and store the information whenever you interact with us. This includes your internet protocol (IP) address, and your location. This will help us provide a better platform and service with your browser and operating system.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. We store all passwords in encrypted format. Order information including name, order, address, phone, and email address are stored securely on our servers.

As you browse our site, your preferences are remembered through temporary use of cookies. Cookies enable our system to monitor the navigational preferences.
